Shares of Ruinian International (2010.HK), the country's largest maker of amino acid health supplements, fell 16 percent on Tuesday after reports one of its products failed a drug quality test earlier this year. Chief financial officer Philip Poon said the product was found to contain much lower levels of amino acids than stated in its packaging.

Why is it all of a sudden that all these tests about Chinese medicines start pouring out? What might be next? Could it be the herbal drinks? The Chinese herbal supplements? Chinese candies? Tortoise Jelly / Guilinggao?
